He was predeceased by : his father Arthur Edward Dollens; and his brother-in-law Lawrence McAllister. He is survived by : his mother Carol Mae Dollens (Sears) of Thompson; his wife Melanie Ann McAllister; his children, Aonghus Dollens, Morghan Dollens, Connor Dollens, Laura Dollens and Lawrence "Mac" Dollens; and his siblings, Marie Elizabeth Hamilton (Phil) of Camdenton and Thomas Edward Dollens (Kayla) of Stuart, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Baldrick's Children Cancer Research.
