It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert McBurney of Thompson, Missouri, born in Klemme, Iowa, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Betty McBurney; his children, Jason Robert McBurney of Thompson and Elizabeth Jean Browning of Centralia; his brother Richard McBurney (Rose) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Heather Michelle Hudson (Scott) of Mexico and Ashley Dawn Brumback of Centralia; his great grandchildren, Kaila Browning of Centralia, Zoey Gilman of Mexico, Kya Brumback and Wade Brumback of Centralia; and his nieces and nephews, Helen Golden (Larry) of Iowa, Patty McBurney of Iowa, Bobby Gordon of Mexico, Steve McBurney (Martha) of Minnesota, Jim McBurney (Lori) of Illinois, Peter McBurney of Illinois, Philip McBurney of Illinois, John McBurney (Elizabeth) of Illinois, Dennis Prevas of Wisconsin and Bobby McBurney of Iowa.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Missouri Veterans Home or the Alzheimer's Association.
