It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jane Taetz of Union, Missouri, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hildebert Frances Bard (Janet Hoover) and Janet Bard-Beatty; her former husband Earl Blatt; her husband David Taetz; and her sister Edna Loyko.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Blatt (Karen Beatty) of Chesterfield, Linda Krenning (Richard) of Beaufort and Lucinda Shearman (Paul) of Union; her sister Ruth Adlon of Harrisburg, PA; her grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Abigail, Gary, Alyson and Brian; and her stepgrandchildren, James, Steven, Stephanie, Justin and Amanda. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Ridge Church are preferred.
