He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith; his sons, Paul Smith (Tracy) of Monticello, AR and Nicholas Smith (Zuzana) of Heber City, UT; his siblings, Susan Scheer (Danny) of New Haven, MO, Judy Elbert of Washington, MO, Barbara Smith of St. Louis, MO, Jane Stroud of New York, Thomas Smith of Leslie, MO, James Smith of Bland, MO and Donald Smith of Leslie, MO; his grandchildren, Trent and Axel Smith; his mother-in-law Theresa Brueggemann; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Janish (Todd) of Beaufort, MO, Harold Brueggemann (Ann VerMeulen) of Galena, MO, Richard Brueggemann (Martha) of Union, MO, Kenneth Brueggemann (Mary) of Beaufort, MO, Jerome Brueggemann (Sandy) of St. Clair, MO and Douglas Brueggemann (Sandy) of St. Robert, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
