With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Wissmann (Union, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Henry "Jiggs" Wissmann and Lorena Mae. He is survived by: his wife Donna Wissmann; his children, Kevin Wissmann (Ruth) of Union, MO and Vicki Wissmann Ross of Union, MO; his grandchildren, Kayla Herman (David) of Washington, MO, Nathan Hoeft (Jessica) of Union, MO and Alex Wissmann of Union, MO; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Rylee, Parker Herman, Easton and Benton Hoeft; his sister Judy Arnet (Bill) of Columbia, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Willard Coffman (Naoma), Don Coffman (Charlene), Charles Coffman, Marvin Coffman (Bobbie), Geraldine Greuber, Catherine Wagner, Louise Heck, Margaret Risenhoover and Wanda Starbeck (Ron). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mr. Wissmann to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
