He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Beckmann and Ruth; and his wife Linda Beckmann. He is survived by: his sons, James Lee Beckmann Jr. (Alexa) and William David Beckmann (Billy) of Washington, MO.; his grandchildren, Victoriana, Ashlyn, Nichole, Alexander, Renee, Tobias Jordan (Jimmy), Jaxon, Kailynne, Billy, Brittney McGuffin and Chrystal Carroll; his close friend Lois Smith; his siblings, Tom Beckmann (Laura Endejan) of Beaufort, MO and Jane Pinnell (John) of Union, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Johnnie LaValle (Guy) of Jefferson City, MO and Carla Chitty (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to ASPCA or St. Jude's Hospital.
