Joy Lee Carter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2021, at the age of 84, Joy Lee Carter of Union, Missouri, born in Mount Vernon, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vermanus Phillip and Bertha Jane Carter (Evatt); his wife Goldie Carter; his siblings, Itascha Rutledge, Delbert, Dallas and Roy Carter; and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Amy Stafford.
He is survived by: his pet Snickers; his daughters, Cynthia McKee (Bill) of Columbia, IL and Sheila Carter of Union, MO; his granddaughters, Jessica Gerst (Stephen) of Collinsville, IL and Mollie Carter of Union, MO; and his great grandchild Alice Rose Gerst. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
