He is survived by: his children, David Groenke (Sharon) of Gerald, MO, Karen Young (Barry) of Bruner, MO, Dale Groenke (Cindy) of Beaufort, MO and Janet Havelka (Douglas) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Beth Morrey (Joseph), Ross Groenke (Danielle), Faith Groenke, Amy, Timothy Stevenson, Benjamin and Matthew Havelka; his great grandchild Jordan Stevenson; and his siblings, Gordon Groenke, Glorian Fedderly and Sandra Erikson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Pilgrim Lutheran Church or the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
