He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Hoemann and Jennie; his wife Norma Dean; his sister Ethel; his brothers-in-law, Bill Haugh and Gene Owens; his daughters, Kay Eads (Norman) of Union, Kathy Matthews (Mark) of Union, Carol Erisman (Brad) of Washington and Beth Klenke (Kerry) of Union; his grandchildren, Dean Eads (Shannon), Chris Eads (Amber), Nate Matthews, Derrick Matthews (Sherri), Greg Matthews (Megan), Carli Doepke (Ryan), Stephanie Hughes (Andrew), Robert Nalker (Renata), Eric Nalker (Stephanie) and Joel Klenke (Allie); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sydney Eads, Tristan, Cayman Eads, Haden, Jordan Matthews, Allie, Taylor, Micah, Noah Matthews, Asa, Naomi, Judah Doepke, Jayde, Jonas Hughes, Weston, Liam Nalker and Phoebe Nalker; and his sister-in-law Cleo Jane Owens of Union. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Christian Church or Ninos de Mexico.
