He is survived by: his wife Mary Hartzell; his children, Mark Hartzell (Amanda) of Union, MO, Mike Small (Sherri) of Villa Ridge, MO, Joyce Hartzell (Todd Tombridge) of Union, MO and Donna Kennedy (Jim) of Washington, MO; his siblings, Carolyn Owens (Jim) of Jackson, MO and Alan Hartzell (Michele) of Washington, MO; his grandchildren, Samantha Niere (Clint), J. D. Kennedy (Annelisa), Ayden Green, William Hartzell, Josephine Small and Emma Hartzell; his great grandchildren, Aiden Niere, Addison Niere, Haven Kennedy and Hazel Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Schweissguth (Dave) of Washington, MO, Leo Purschke of Chesterfield, MO and Ray Purschke (Kate) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
