She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Samuel Cooper Minnis; her children, Mary Elizabeth Hayman of Kansas City, MO, Evelyn Campbell Fank (Joseph), Samuel Cooper Minnis Jr. (Wendy) and Stephen Young Minnis; her grandchildren, Meg, Scott, Mary Grace, Angelina and Cooper; and her great grandchild Hallie.
