We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 85, Susan Keightley Schweser (University City, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Susan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Susan. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Schweser; and her parents, Frank Keightley and Rosella Keightley. She is survived by: her children, Scott Schweser and Allison Montgomery (Peter); her grandchildren, Ellie and Matthew Montgomery; and her brother Frank Laurence Keightley (Sue).

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ladue Chapel (9450 Clayton Rd, St. Louis, MO 63124).

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Blood Cancer United, bloodcancerunited.org.

“Allison and Scott, our condolences to you and your family. Your parents were great friends and we enjoyed socializing with them. Unfortunately, AML kept Sue from getting out as she wanted, but she kept hoping to resume normal life after she beat the disease. Unfortunately, the disease ultimately won but with the strong support of her family her spirits never gave in. She was a very special friend and we will miss her greatly! Christy and Roger Waxelman”
