She was predeceased by : her parents, Bethel "Bodie" Lavelle Hicks and Polly Pauline Tune; her husbands, John Fenton Suggs Jr. and James Robert Markham Sr.; her son James Robert Markham Jr. (Rocio) of St. Charles, MO; her brothers, Jimmy Hicks, Terry Hicks and Mike Hicks; and her granddaughter Shara Elizabeth Faye Suggs.
She is survived by : her children, Rebecca Irene Clubb (Jeff) of Puxico, John Fenton Suggs III (Karen) of Cape Girardeau and George Robert Markham (Cherie) of Wappapello; and her brother Steve Hicks of Poplar Bluff. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
