He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Truex; and his parents, Gordon Truex and Bertha Truex. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey W. Truex (Melissa); his grandchildren, Kinsley of Columbia, MO and Paisley of Columbia, MO; his brother James Truex of Warrensburg; his nephews, Terry Truex of Warrensburg and Toby Truex of Garden City; and also, Ima Truex of Warrensburg, Stephanie Truex of Warrensburg and Teresa Truex of Garden City.
