We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2021, at the age of 63, Michael Smith of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lee and Janice Irene Smith (Hendrix); and his brother Jimmy Smith of Alexandria, LA.. He is survived by: his wife Laura Neth Smith; his children, Nick Smith (Rena), Jake Smith (Kimberly), Doug Smith (Stephanie) and Christine Sutherland; his grandchildren, Gregory Smith, Payton Smith, Hunter Smith, Landon Smith, Mallory Smith, Tucker Smith and Trevor Smith; his brother Dennis Smith; and his parents-in-law, Hubert and Barbara Neth. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Due to the recent surge of COVID cases, the family requests all mourners to abide by social distancing guidelines.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Johnson County Cancer Foundation and can be left in care of the funeral home.
