He is survived by: his parents, Berry Smith and Edwina Null Smith (Daly); his wife Gail; his daughter Tammy Smith-Fischer; and his grandchildren, Joshua Deines (Brittany) of Arkansas and Taylor Deines of Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
