It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Reininger Gerst of Warrenton, Missouri, born in Marthasville, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Reininger; her parents, Warner Pauk (Ida Jaspering Pauk) and Ida Rappelean; and her sister Arlene Fanning. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Herndon (Steve Bartlow) of Warrenton; and her sister Marlene Hopper (Dave). She is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, and several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; other relative, and friends.
The family is requesting any donations be given to American Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation, St. Jude's Children Hospital, or the Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383.
