It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Shannon (Warsaw, Missouri), born in Boonville, Missouri, who passed away on May 14, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Zillman Shannon and Anna Mae Stutes Shannon; his son Tracy D. Shannon; and his siblings, Jim Shannon and Linda Shannon.

He is survived by : his sons, Richard A. Shannon of Marshall and John Charles "Charlie" Shannon Jr. of Carrollton; his siblings, Bob Shannon of Springfield, Bill Shannon of Kentucky, Lela Colligan of Grand Rapids, MI and Delores Parks of Clinton; and his close friend Connie Smith. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project or the charity of donor's choice.
