He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dale S. Gregory and Marva Lee McCubbin Gregory; his wife Lois Hayward; his children, Carol Carper (Kevin) of Springfield and Robert Gregory (Amy) of Sedalia; his grandsons, David and Jase Gregory; and also Marva Lee Taylor of Warsaw. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
