He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Hayes (Wilma) and Wilma Hayes; and his siblings, Betty Morgan, Larry Hayes, Jerry Hayes, Terry Hayes and Pam Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hayes of Washington; his stepchildren, Keith Schatzler (Tanya) of Union and Sue Whitaker of Union; his brother Tim Hayes (Rita); his siblings-in-law, Leroy Morgan of Washington, Bob Maloney (Lorena) of Marthasville, Dana Hayes of Marthasville and Doris Reeder of Warrenton; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Lucas, Libby (Dakota), Lisa and Robert; and his great grandchild Hunter. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society are preferred.
