He was predeceased by : his grandson Kelly Finn; and his siblings, Earl Mueller, Roy Mueller (Mary), Betty Mueller and Shirley Schenck.

He is survived by : his wife Loretta Mueller of Weldon Spring; his children, Mark Mueller (Ellen) of Raleigh, NC, Steve Mueller (Anna) of Chesterfield, MO and Laurie Finn (Charlie) of Bland, MO; his grandchildren, Andrew Mueller, Rachel Mueller, Joseph Mueller, Scott Finn, Lucas Mueller and Margaret Mueller; his great grandchildren, Natalie Mueller, Katherine Mueller, Rebecca Mueller, Ethan Mueller, William Mueller, Judah Mueller and Emily Finn; his siblings-in-law, Don Schenk of O'Fallon, MO and Hortense Mueller of St. Louis; and his former life partner Miss Loretta Kieffer. He is also survived by other relatives, and many friends.
