We bid farewell to George William Payne Jr. of Wentzville, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2024 at the age of 92. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, George William Payne, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Payne (Jeanette "Jeanne" D.); and his sisters, Gloria Ralston, Janet Higginbotham and Doris Purvis.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Payne-Naeger of Wentzville, MO, Diana Wilton (Scott) of Lake St and Gail Payne of Lake St; his sister Joyce Thrasher (Glen) of St. Charles, MO; and his grandchildren, Mike (Emily), Nicolas, Daniel, Corinne and Autumn. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
