It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Kathryn Morris (West Plains, Missouri), who passed away on December 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Donnie Leon Morris; her grandparents, Joe, Delia Harrison, Wilphard and Ruea Morris; her mother Pauline Morris; her sister Norma Jean Morris; and her granddaughter Allison Ann Pauline Mattes.
She is survived by: her daughter Sara Kay Mattes (Matthew) of Nevada, Missouri; her grandchildren, Katelyn Jean Morris of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Matthew Kohl Mattes (Megan) of Austin and Kyle William Mattes of Layton, Utah.; and her siblings, Anita (James Collins), John (Freda Morris), Donna (Randy Spencer) and David (Paula Morris). She is also survived by her 14 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri (827 Chestnut St, Thayer, MO 65791).
