Millie Jean Alexander Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Millie Jean Alexander of Willard, Missouri, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgie Marlin and Fred Marlin; her former husband Wesley Phillips Sr.; her children, Pamela and Javen Phillips; and her siblings, Mazie Hargis, Virginia Brooks, Walter Marlin, Fon Marlin, Margaret Clemens, Bettie Stokes, Mary Parker, Geraldine Marlin, Paul Marlin and David Marlin.
She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Bacon (Brad); her grandsons, Nicolas "Brady" Bacon and Logan Phillips; her great grandchild River Phillips; her son Wesley Phillips Jr.; her husband William "Woody" Alexander; and her pets, Buttercup and Mustang. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home (4500 S Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Springfield National Cemetery (1702 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804).
In lieu of flowers , the family is requesting that donations be made to the Ash Grove Healthcare facility and Rehabilitation Center Memory Care Unit, Ash Grove , Missouri http://www.citizensmemorial.com.
