She was predeceased by : her parents, Calvin C. Owens and Loraine M. Owens (Faraone); her husband Raymond Franklin Hillis; her children, Raymond Franklin Hillis Jr., Elaine Hillis, Verna Lee Hillis and Loretta Arlene Hillis; her grandson David James Clinton; and her siblings, Clovis Owens, Steven Scott Owens, Luther Calvin Owens and Elizabeth Lou Owens.
She is survived by : her children, Frank Hillis (Julie) of Naylor, Vicky Clinton (Eddie) of Greenville, Jolene Bolin of Bloomfield and Claudia Henson (Jesse) of Bloomfield; and her siblings, Gale Wright (Rhonda) of McDonough, GA, Belinda Vaughn (Larry) of Coldwater, Wilma Fuller (Frank) of Williamsville, Tina Lunsford (Stacy) of Locust Grove, GA and Karen Owens of Yakima, WA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
