She was predeceased by: her nephews, Robbie White and Carl David Kennison; her great-niece Melissa Kennison; her siblings-in-law, Vernon Dixon (La Von), Junior Dixon (Hallie), Norman Dixon, Bob Dixon, Jerry Haley, Terry Platz and Shirley McKim (Clarence); and her son-in-law Jon Hatley.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Walker; her husband Melvin Dixon Sr.; her children, Tammy Dixon, Audrey Hatley, Zena Dixon and Melvin Dixon Jr. (Mary Clevenger) of Milan; her siblings, Harold White of Macon, Robert White of Kirksville and Regina Haley of Evansville; her siblings-in-law, Ed Dixon (Barb) of Green Castle, Roger Dixon (Helen) of Opp, Karen Platz of Kirksville and Delores Dixon of Oregon; her grandchildren, Howard Dixon of Colorado, Shawn Resch (Sara) of Colorado, Anthony Dixon of Colorado, Nikki Piper (Kelly) of Colorado, Josh Cawdrey (April) of Colorado and Michael Dixon (Misty) of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Craig, Marshall, Star, Cindy, Matthew, Ainsely, Kaden, Hannah, Cheyenne (Skyler), Mackenzie, Bethany, Nevaeh, Nathaniel, Jewell, Jose Jr., Esmarelda, Destiny, Illiana, Micheal, Jeremiah, Emmaleigh, Adelynne, Aubrianna and Axton Carmack; and her great great grandchild Raymon Alvarez.
