With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Byron Rhodes Hankins of Abbeville, Mississippi, who passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ordway and Lula Katherine Hankins; and his siblings, Carole Bensch, Dot Crowder and Jerry Hankins.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Shoffner Hankins of Abbeville; his children, Brandi Carter (Chris) of Abbeville, Andy Hankins (Tricia) of Abbeville, Robert Mills of Abbeville and Chris Shoffner of Abbeville; and his siblings, Anita Moore (James) of Abbeville, Linda Moore of Nevada, Bobby Hankins (Glenda) of Abbeville and Ricky Hankins (Augusta) of Abbeville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
