He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Maddox (Corey) of Berry and Chelsey Curtin of Demopolis, Alabama.; his stepchildren, Renee Harvey (Bubba) of Drew, Mississippi, Roxie Campbell (Shawn) of Flint, Michigan, Charlie Thomas Jr. (Christie) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Chris Thomas of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; his parents, Charles Kornegay and Lula Kornegay of West Point; and his siblings, Ann Gulsby (Sam) of Tuscaloosa, William Sullivan of West Point, Teresa Dove of Flowery Branch, Georgia and Jimmie Sue Kornegay of West Point. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (10167 Darracott Rd, Aberdeen, MS 39730).
