She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Benefiel; and her siblings, Ila Dean Lackie and George O'Neal Berry. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Winfrey-Putze of Chesterfield and Patricia Holloway of Hamilton; and her brother Wayne Berry of Denham Springs. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
