She was predeceased by : her husband James Franklin Hines, Jr.; her parents, Joseph Henry and Matilda Gosa Poe; and her siblings, Alvin Henry Poe, Annie Matt Poe, Dorothy Poe of Virginia, Lettress Aleda Poe, Oliver Ray 'Crip Poe and Woodrow Wilson 'Buck Poe.

She is survived by : her sons, Franklin Hines (Kristen) of Houston, TX and Sidney Hines (Jodi) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Marshall, Garrett, Seth, Dane and Kendra; and her great grandchildren, Lyle, Marlene, Benjamin, Ruth, Charlotte, Abigail, Harriet, Trace and Lillian.
