She was predeceased by: her father Dwain Emmons; and her grandmother Dolly Kent. She is survived by: her mother Winona Kent Emmons; her husband Mike Adams; her sons, Trey Adams Seymour (Alicia) and Brandon Adams (Robin); her brother Doug Emmons (Barbara); her grandchildren, Kalyn Adams, Toby Adams, Sebastian Robertson, Aiden Adams, Anabelle Robertson and Josiah Adams; her niece Beth Foster; and her close friends, Tammy Pigg and Camille Hachett.
She also enjoyed sewing, and recently made it her mission to sew face masks for her family and front line workers during the Covid 19 pandemic.
