He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Susie Hopper; his wife Barbara Hopper; his siblings, Hugh Hopper, Mabel Snowden, Mary Snowden, Evelyn Miles, Sadie Dial, Inez Dial, Ina Lauver and Irene Sessums; and his grandchildren, James Allen Hopper, Benjamin Cody Roberson, Zachery Tyler Roberson and Matthew Dustin Roberson.
He is survived by: his children, John Hopper (Marsha), Kathy Roberson (David) and Nancy Hopper; his grandchildren, Shelley Angell (Stewart), Stephanie Bishop (Dakota), Kevin Hopper, Katelyn Hopper and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Abigail Angell, John Reid Angell, Mary Katherine Angell, Kynslee Roberson, Randi Kate Roberson, Parker Roberson and Blakeli Jane Roberson; and his sisters, Johnetta Buchanan and Nellie Sue Simmons.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Arkadelphia Baptist Church.
