He was predeceased by: his parents, Rivers Martin and Delia Mae Buse Martin; his siblings, Gracie Faye Blassingame (Mack) and Carl C. Martin (Mary Lou); his nephew Marty Martin; and his parents-in-law, Odell and Myrtie Lee Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Underwood Martin; his children, Lisa Hathcock (Randy) and Kevin Martin (Amy); his grandchildren, Austin Martin (Mallory), Hannah Baker (Brent), Maggie Smith (Evan) and Tyler Hathcock (Lexye); his great grandchildren, Olivia Baker, Dex Martin, Baylon Baker, John Rivers Smith, Henley Baker and Rhett Martin; his sibling's children, Mike Martin and Janie Armstrong; and his sisters-in-law, Eloise Underwood and Daphenia James.
Due to covid the family will have a private service at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. John Cagle and Dr. Forrest Sheffield officiating.
