He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvesta Bennett and Pauline Bennett; and his brother James Norman Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bennett; his children, Sahara Bennett, Taura Bennett, Deidra Calamese, Vanessa Groves Davis, Veronica Grice, Tania Gambel, Jacques Calamese, Tyrone Welch and Chris Barnett; and his siblings, Fellicia Reed, Shulanda Bennett Jett, Vernessa Anderson, Margie Randall, Sam Wicks, Alvin Bennett and Thomas Allen. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
