She is survived by: her husband Herbert "Pete" Peterson; her children, Wayne Peterson (Kim) of Yorktown and Mary Lou Carroll of Staunton; her siblings, Gladys Sheffield (Bobby) of Fulton and Watts (Sue) of Baldwyn; her grandchildren, Erica Peterson, Stephanie Padrick (Heath) of Richmond, Jonathan Carroll and Mark Carroll (Ashley) of Staunton; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Padrick, Lily Padrick and Madison Carroll.
