She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Jefferson Sartain Sr. and Maggie Sartain Nelson; her daughter Debra Ann Vaughn; and her brothers, Buddy Sartain and Sonny Sartain.

She is survived by : her son Ronald Jenkins (Carolyn) of Banner; the father of her children Ronald Clinton Jenkins, Sr.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Reeves, Tina Jenkins and Clinton Lee; and her sister Shirley Defer of Water Valley.
