It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jo Edwards (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Nesbit and Robert Jr. Johnson; and her sister Lille B. Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Nina Mosley of Atlanta, GA, Keith Mosley (Janice) of Blue Springs, MS, Don Mosley of Blue Springs, MS, Lee Ann Rogers of Tupelo, MS, Antionette Coleman (Rick) of Blue Springs, MS, Babetta Judon (Terry) of New Albany, MS and Valerie Edwards of Chattanooga, TN; her adoptive children, Kiyonna Edwards of New Albany, MS, Quasheo Edwards of New Albany, MS and Eleja Edwards of Chattanooga, TN; and her siblings, Marloe Howard, Shirlean Gordon, Patricia Brown (Irish), Boston Gordon (Tina) and Dexter L. Nesbit. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
