She was predeceased by : her husband James Smith; and her sibling Verbil Dewdrop Scott. She is survived by : her daughter Jami Smith Williams of Saltillo; her stepchildren, Becky White (David), Allen Smith and Donald Smith; her grandchildren, Amy Turner (Tim), Davi Jo Williams of Saltillo, Payton Cosgrove (Leeanne) of Cherokee, AL, Alli, Swayze, Silas Turner, Weslee Cosgrove, Cayson Cosgrove, Halea Stephens and Anna Preslee Brown; her sister Yvonne Smith (Ron); her sister-in-law Bobbie Scott (late David) of Belden; and her grandchildren, Scott Elliott (Elton), Lapez McAnally, Gerald Scott (Irene) and Mac Scott (Jeannine). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 937 Mt. Vernon Road, Tupelo, MS 38804. Monday and will be permanently archived thereafter.
