He is survived by : his children, Roxanna Carter of Yazoo City, MS, James Carter, Jr. of Pittsburg, TX and William Carter (Danielle) of Senatobia, MS; and his sister Wanda Dennis of Columbia, MS. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
