She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Barkley and Nell Barkley; and her husband Kenneth Harold Kornegay, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Kornegay, Jr. (Kaye) of Belzoni and Barkley Pearson (Danny) of Isola; her grandchildren, Chase Pearson (Whitney) of Isola, Brantley Pearson of Anguilla, Payton Pearson (Katie) of Isola, Anna Rodgers Smith (Tyler) of Madison, Leah Walcott (Ken) of Hernando and Brannon Purvis (Melissa) of Inverness; her great grandchildren, Mary Tatum Pearson, John Owen Pearson, Christian Walcott, Caleb Walcott, Madelyn Purvis, Cason Purvis and Jack Purvis; her brothers, Harold Barkley and Hugh Allen Barkley; and her close friends, Paulette Pinson and Patsy Lang.
