She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Tip Parks and Daisy Mae Sibley Parks; her husband Billie Joe Abel, Sr.; and her nephew Donnie Parks, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Tana Jane Franklin (Dirk) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Billie Joe Abel, Jr. (Jessica) of Duncan, Brad Parks Abel of Belzoni and Brian Tip Abel of Puerto Rico; her brother Donald Parks of Belzoni; and her grandchildren, Ben Abel, Sarah Abel, Hayley Franklin and Holden Franklin.
