He is survived by: his son Richard Whatley; his siblings, Richard Whatley of Cleveland, MS., Barbara Ouzts (Chip) of Beulah, MS., Carolyn Sellars, Sharmon Williams and Carolyn Davis; and his stepson Chris Lowery.
