She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lafayette and Ershal Lafayette; her husband James Yelverton; her daughter Diane Yelverton Kennon; and the parents of child, Robert and Ershal Lafayette.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Yelverton Graham; her son-in-law Mark; and her grandchildren, Amanda Waddell, Kimberly Waddell Carr (Andrew), Katherine Waddell Cooley (Logan), Daniel Waddell, Joshua Kennon (Kate) and Riley Kennon Saltzman (Justin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Parkway Baptist Church (17284 MS-67, Biloxi, MS 39532). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (106 Morgantown Rd, Natchez, MS 39120).
