We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Theresa Esther McInnis (Biloxi, Mississippi), born in New Britain, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Theresa Esther leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Thomas "Tom" McInnis; and her parents, Stephen J. Wasielak and Rita L. Wasielak. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Mary McInnis (Michael Perez) of Dover, DE; her siblings, Thomas Wasielak of La Grange, KY, Donald Wasielak (Elizabeth M. Russell) of Concord, NC, Christine Calcinari of California and Jacqueline Hopkins of Coalmont, TN; and her aunt Ruth Jones of Londonderry, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, One Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT 06105, where Terri's memorabilia will be displayed.
