With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Yvonne Shook of Baldwyn, Mississippi, who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pendergraph and Lola Pendergraph; her husband Rois Shook; her siblings, Loyce, Wayne, James, Betty and Shirley; her sons-in-law, James and Pepper; and her brother-in-law Dale Woodruff.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Pendergraph, Cindy Parker, Walisa Jeffries (Jimmy Joyner), Gilbert Shook (Georgette), Sarah Jenkins (Robert), Linda Bearden, Michael Bearden (Samantha) and Susan Shook; and her sister Mary Woodruff. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kesler Funeral Home, Inc. (114 Gaston Rd, Booneville, MS 38829).
