She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Allen and Lillian Allen; her husband Carl Franklin Bates; her son Carl Franklin Bates, Jr.; her brother Joe Allen; and her son Gene AllenFather (Lillian AllenMother).
She is survived by: her daughter Pamelia Johnson; her sister Anita Johnson; her sister-in-law Jane Allen; her grandchildren, Jeffery Johnson (Brooke) and Jessica Livingston (Richey); and her great grandchildren, Carlee Johnson, Ella Johnson, Maeleigh Livingston, Jeanie Franklin Livingston, Rylan Stewart and Ansley Palmertree. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
