He was predeceased by: his parents, J. A. "Jim" Moyer and Sylvia Lott Moyer; his siblings, Ova Dee Wilson, Helen Martin and Mary Susan Moyer; and his brother-in-law Veston "Ves" George.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Daniels Moyer; his daughters, Amy Deer (Joel) of Madison, MS and Jenni Smith (Lee) of Madison, MS; his grandchildren, Anna Veston Deer, Ryleigh Deer, Ford Smith, Millie Smith and Moses Smith; and his siblings, Polly George of Batesville, MS and John Moyer of Monette, AR..
