He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Richard Spencer and Irene Lilly Ray Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie F. Spencer; his son Adam Spencer; his sibling's children, Treva Cotter (Gary) and James Garner; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Baker (Rex) and Ruby S. Garner.
