She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lewis and Pernecy Lewis; her husband Charles Whittington, Sr.; and her brother Elton Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Martha McLelland (Bill) of Pearl, Charles Whittington, Jr. of Florence, Alice Price (Steve) of Richland, Temple Whittington (Debbie) of Pearl and Rosemary Kirkendall (Randy) of Brandon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren.
