She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hatchett and Frances Hatchett. She is survived by: her children, Veronica Thornton (James), Lanita Dent (Stanley) of Florence, MS, Jessica Sutton (Leonte), Ashley Gardner of Byram, MS and Edward Thurman of Florence, MS; her sister Letha Walker of Florence, MS; and her goddaughter Debra Atlas. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
